bliss day too/two

Yesterday I gave over an usually sacrosanct Saturday to do a course with a much-loved friend. It was a full day in every sense of the world, but such an important one. As we broke for lunch, heads and hearts full of what we’d learnt so far, the beach called. The waves were high and tumbled-glass-blue, the sky a charcoal wash of light and dark.
