longest ever & only part 1

So I’ve already apologised for being a wimp and not knowing what to do with these in the past. But today I woke and knew that the acknowledgement was worth it. So here goes Part 1 (Part 2 to come at a later date).

Came my way as my first award all the way from http://thenomadicsoliloquist.wordpress.com/, a gesture which I now hope he knows I appreciate beyond words.

5 SWEET QUESTIONS:
(All nominees kindly answer the questions below)
1. Cookies or Cake? – why, oh why, would you make me choose? I’m all about the word ALL 🙂
2. Chocolate or Vanilla? – Ooooh. Chocolate, I think, I’m pretty sure. But not chocolate cake (which is a bit of a no-no for me).
3. Favorite Sweet Treat? – When I was a kid, it was my mum’s bread and butter pudding or an Eton Mess (how English is that?!). Now? Now I am an adult and I can have whatever I choose, I couldn’t possibly pick one (decision-making is NOT a strong point of mine!)
4. When do you crave sweet things most? – 4pm. No, seriously. 4pm and maybe 8pm on a whimsy.
5. Sweet Nickname – Without reducing you to tears in pity for me, all my nicknames are more about poking fun, than terms of endearment, be they plays on my name or my background. And I’m not listing them here because I don’t need to encourage more 🙂

My nominations –
I don’t know how you all feel about nominations, but I wanted to acknowledge the beautiful posts you create and for you to know how much I appreciate them:

http://sethsnap.com – stunning landscape and urban shots with beautiful commentary
http://sjri.wordpress.com/ – capturing Australian landscapes in its true beauty, reminding me I need to get out more!

http://photographybycalliec.wordpress.com/ – am pretty sure Callie won’t appreciate the word ‘sweet’ but his images need sharing, so here’s an award!

From my friend Belinda at http://busymindthinking.com, and those four words come with a level of pride that is rare these days. When someone can inspire you just by finding their own way through and sharing the journey, you know you have stumbled across a beautiful soul. Thank you – meant on all the levels possible. I sit very uncomfortably on the word ‘inspiring’, but for you I will try!
So here are mine. Again, this is a show of appreciation for all that each of you do 🙂
