Yesterday, I travelled on the Manly ferry, a brief interlude in a hectic week, a chance to try to assimilate the level of change that’s set in.
And as I sat, up and left, poised to slide nostalgically past the Opera House, I was befriended by a gentleman named Chris. As perhaps only a stranger can, by the time we docked in Manly, he had allowed me to centre into my changes, appreciate what the journey has been, and remind myself that I have value to offer for this new chapter. I hope I managed to do something positive in return.
