This is the place where fact and fiction come to live together, where past and future sit side by side. There’s a certain nostalgia imbued in the smell of old paper, flexed and drawn over, corners folded and spines creased. There’s a comfort in the slight mustiness, in the roughness of each leaf. There’s a communion of generations as we share the printed word of strangers before us, with strangers before us. And a reminder of how creative souls can be, we fill shelf upon shelf with more words, ideas, illustrations and works than one will ever have time to consume in this one beautiful lifetime.
Belinda, may this carry you to nestle amongst it all.
